Shiva The Way
Through this website Shivatheway.com, we strive to understand the supreme entity, Lord Shiva. Shivatheway has been started to explain, through books, who Lord Shiva is - the eternal, formless supreme being without beginning or end, how He guides humanity, and how countless devotees experience in their lives that not even an atom moves without His presence.
When we fully realize that every movement in life happens by the will of Shiva, the philosophy of surrender (sharanagati) naturally arises within us. To help people understand such Shiva, this website publishes various books.
To promote the growth of Saiva Siddhanta (Shaiva philosophy), these books are offered as free downloadable PDFs. We provide books that help devotees understand Shiva’s incarnations, the philosophy of equality taught by Shiva, Jyotirlinga pilgrimage sites, temples praised in the Devaram hymns, the darshan of the Nayanmars, and the many names and dimensions of Shiva. We believe these resources will be helpful to Shiva devotees and alsoto those who wish to learn about Shaivism. Similar books adoring Shiva will continue to be uploaded on this website in the future.
The second section of this website features other spiritual books as well. For example, books on Shakti Peethas, various forms of Lord Ganesha, and insightful reflections are available, with more spiritual publications planned for the future.
The third section, Jyotida Munnodi (Astrology Pioneer), focuses on basic questions commonly asked in astrology and offers helpful astrological books. These astrology books, are published with the name “Somu” as Someswaran, Lord Shiva is the knower of past, present, and future. We believe these free books will be useful to anyone wishing to understand the influence of time.
If these publications are useful, it is due to the grace of Adi Sivan (Lord Shiva); if there are shortcomings, it is a reminder that Adi Sivan is still guiding our lives. With this understanding, we humbly offer these books at the lotus feet of Shiva.
Om Namah Shivaya!
